(2) Mon Nov 17 2003 20:08 Happy #1 Birthday: I have a sinus infection, so Samuel's birthday bash was quite anticlimatic. We sang the happy birthday song and helped Samuel blow out his candle, and then took a few photos of him devouring his cupcake. I didn't even get out today to buy his birthday present, I was so lacking in energy--we will buy him a big ball tomorrow. That is the one thing that will really make him smile.

Happy Birthday Samuel!!!

I hope that you had a good one. Sounds like there was rain up there. Well, I learned yesterday that when it rains even a few inches in Houston and they are warning about flooding, they are SERIOUS! It was INSANE getting home from work. I had to leave my car on the side of the road (not very far from home) and walk. There were just too many cars stalling around me. Every street was under water by at least a foot. So, with that, I am sorry that I was unable to call, it was just a crazy evening and I was exhausted once it was all over.
