[Comments] (1) : I've been nursing sick children for the past few days. Fevers, congestion, runny noses, a little nausea, you know. A touch of everything. I'm just about worn out, and I'm not even the sick one!!

I figured out the mathematical probablities of sick kids. It goes as follows: If you have one kid, he's either sick, or he's not, a 50% chance that he will be sick. If you have two kids, this probability doubles, so there is a 100% chance they will be sick. At that point, I think factoring kicks in. With more than two kids, it's a factor of, say, 2.5, but with each additional child this factor increases exponentially. The probablity is that mothers are sunk. Children are little walking germbags is what they are.

When my kids were little, I was at the pediatrician's so often (Susanna Richardson, the queen of otitis media) that the girls at the front desk used to invite me to their Tupperware parties.
