At the house of some Canadian friends of ours, Rachel and I were once served floats with chocolate ice cream and pineapple soda. It was actually pretty good, but I think Rachel had plain ice cream.

Sounds interesting. I'll have to try it. When I was dating Dave, he and his roomates had a "purple cow" party with grape soda and vanilla ice cream floats. But never heard of chocolate ice cream with pineapple soda!
