[Comments] (3) : I was tucking Samuel in his bed for nap time when I noticed a green stringy mess all over his blankets. I knew that his nose was a little runny from all of his teething, but I had no idea it was THAT bad. But then I saw underneath all the covers a ziploc bag of leftover guacamole that one of the boys had fetched from the fridge and squirted all over Samuel's crib. Well, I'd rather have a guacamole mess than a snott mess on my hands.

I wouldn't. I would want to eat the guacamole. Those boys are mischievous.

I wish I had a blog from the years my kids were little! I don't remember them ever pulling stunts like yours seem to do all the time. Well, Leonard let the ants out of his ant farm once. That was pretty exciting. I know they were not angels, so I think maybe I just don't remember.

One think I can tell you for sure, is Atticus would be cleaning the stuff up, not me.

The most famous time in the family is the time Steven Oman carried flour and sugar upstairs a handful at a time and dumped it on his bedroom floor because he "wanted to see what the floor would look like white." By the time Marilyn caught him, he had carried up (dribbling all the way) 50 pounds of each.

I didn't mention the one mess that made me truly mad today. While I was getting dressed, Samuel removed my large pump-sized body wash from the shower and took it to the living room. When I found him, he was kneeling on the floor shampooing the carpeting. I used every towel we own to extract all that soap from the carpet. And then I had to launder the wet towels. Ah, but I don't think my children are above average in their trouble-making. I think they go in spurts. They are just doing a little two-in-a-row this week. Well, maybe a three-in-a-row.
