[Comments] (7) Full House: I hosted a playgroup brunch this morning; 14 moms and 22 kids came. Every one of the 750 square feet of our four room apartment was buzzing with toddler and pre-schooler energy. I made cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip and cherry scones, and a frittata with eggs, cheese and green chili peppers (the Walch family Christmas morning dish). Everyone that came brought something to share, and the event went off with more success than I thought possible with the number of kids in attendance. We laced licorice strings with Fruit Loops. I think that activity was the saving grace.

John and I were talking about fritatas just the other day. I am amazed you survived that party. Good for you!

It is a wonderful dish. Louise's Family (her dad mostly) goes prawning at Christmas time for their Christmas dish. I don't know if we'll keep that tradition (or the Christmas on the Beach either).

I think that it is wonderful that you are having such a good time with your boys. That is a great way to get Atticus and Samuel to learn how to be social. I don't know about other kids, but when I had people over at my house (as a kid) I always seemed to have more friends at school. They seemed to respect me more and not want to make fun of me as much.

Louise is starting to get more warmed up to the idea of having children in the near future, and I know that she will make a great mother. Plans change so quickly nowadays.

I think plans changed faster back in the day before birth control.
