I'm Alyson (Walch) Matkin. I am mother to two busy boys, Atticus David (born June 2000), and Samuel Joad (November 2002). My husband, Dave, is in a doctoral program of Public Administration at the University of Kansas. I am glad to be a temporary Kansan, and Jayhawker, but my alma mater is Brigham Young University, where I finished my undergraduate work majoring in English. My pleasures are good food, books, music and my family and friends. Hope you enjoy reading about my life!
