Jabberwocky for 2004 February 4

Wed Feb 04 2004 14:35: A dependent clause worksheet had the sentence, "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union." One of my students corrected this sentence by adding "will do anything it takes to make it perfect."

I thought that was sweet.

Wed Feb 04 2004 14:35: I donated absolutely every cent I thought I could afford to sacrifice to the Clark campaign. I don't know if it will do any good, but perhaps it will send a message to the universe.
