Can't wait until I don't have to buy tomatoes. I got my writing proficiencies back today. Most of the people I thought would fail did, but one got a borderline. One of the people I thought would pass failed. Lots of paper grading to do tonight; I'd better get started.

I made minestrone, and it's absolutely lovely. From the garden: basil, oregano, green beans, swiss chard, zucchini. From the store: onion, garlic, celery, tomato, canelli beans, alphabet noodles.
