Today I gave up and moved the "paperyellow" bulbs from the kitchen to the front yard. The bulbs have been sitting there with an inch of green poking out since October, and I think that is too long. They had plenty of time to prove themselves. Now, they will either grow or they will die, and I don't care which. I'm just happy to get them off my countertop.
