While traveling back home my flight was delayed and overbooked. The cool part is they offered 4 people a $200 flight credit to travel 4 hours later. I took it and luckily mom was at the airport still so we ran errands and she dropped me back off at the airport to catch my flight back home. It gets better, instead of $200 flight credit I got $376. I paid $283 for the flight so I made out really well I think.
Aaron has heard back from Baylor (Dallas) and UT (in Houston) as well, and he has gotten in those schools as well. We are going to stick with San Antonio unless they offer Aaron a scholarship he can't refuse.
After reading a post from Sumana about books she read, I remembered I had been wanting to read East of Eden b/c Alyson recommended it and also it was on Oprah's book club list. I rented the book on cd from the library to listen to during my daily walk with Lily- (she usually falls asleep after 5 mins). I enjoy it so far, but I am only on Ch 7.
I can't believe that in 2 1/2 weeks I will be heading down to San Antonio again. Not to mention that we will be checking out housing to live in! Exciting stuff. I do kinda wish though that my vacations were spread apart so to break up the boring parts of the year, but I'll take what I can get.

Things are finally starting to settle now that I am back home. Thanksgiving was fun in San Antonio, but I am sure Lily is happy to be back on a schedule as is her mommy. I really liked getting to know Ben better. David is same ol David and it was fun to see him back from his mission. I also had a chance to hang out with Michelle more than I had in the past.
