After my visit to Lush, I've been using my new Godiva shampoo with my flying fox shower gel, and my whole bathroom smells like jasmine! It's soo yummy. I tried to listen to the mugglenet podcast at the gym but it wasn't on my iPod! So I'm listening to it now... interesting. While I was driving, listening to HBP on CD, I had a brain-flash. What if Madame Pince is really Madame "Prince"? She's described in much the same terms as our beloved ex-potions master. However, a quick google search revealed that I was not the first to come up with this theory... I need a haircut.

I've been looking at everyone's weblogs, waiting for people to update, bc it seems no one has been updating--then I realised that includes me as well.

Who is Madam Pince again? I discovered through a recent google search that my theory about Lemony Snickett's Beatrice wasn't unfounded.

I recently updated. You have to make sure on blogger that you hit refresh, because it doesn't always automatically do it right away.

Madame Pince is the librarian. Did you see that Lemony Snicket is going to auction off a chance to have one's name in his book on ebay for a first amendment thingy? http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=auctioncause

That's cool. "an utterance by Sunny Baudelaire".

Don't you think that, were Madame Pince a Prince, if she were to change her name at all, it would be more dramatic than losing one measly 'r'?It seems to me that may be a bit of a stretch. ;o)

Yeah, but if she changed her name, where would the hint be? It is a bit of a stretch... but one never knows...

I thought her and Filch were hooked up.

According to Harry. I think it was a joke, but a funny one!

Everyone seemed to be "hooked up" in HBP...
