Dispassionately was the word of the day yesterday. I put HBP on my iPod and was listening to it while walking to Stacy's, and I heard it again. This time it was the Apparition instructor explaining splinching, and it was done correctly. So who know. Maybe I was just misinterpreting Jim Dale's tone before? He does a really good job (mostly), tho, so I can't complain.

I was just summarizing an article on gender discrimination for my supervisor and I started thinking about the word "discrimination". Are you being uncriminalized when you are discriminated against? I don't think so.

speaking of tone. do you ever feel that we insert whatever tone we want it to be. granted, there are many limitations in doing this, but sometimes i hear these audiobooks and then think: yah, i like my way better. (this is because I saw Tchaikovsky noted as a revolutionary in my reading today) i tend to do this more with music (tchaikovsky in particular. romeo and julliet to be even more specific) where i'm listening then i think: hmm...tubas are too loud. fortissimo could have been exaggerated more. would have held that note just a little bit longer. these things can change the tone of the story....really!!!so the point of all that? there was no point. sorryp.s. you're excelling amazingly in the stacy school of facebook decorum and strategem. ;-)
