(2) Tue Feb 27 2007 13:44 PST Who ever said that cats are logical?: It is time I learned this lesson. When it's the middle of the night and Tonks is whining to go outside and I don't want him to because a) it's the middle of the night and b) it's raining, opening the door and showing him that it's raining will not necessarily make him want to stay inside. More likely, he will run outside despite the rain, have me worried for two hours that he's being hit by a car or mauled by a kit fox, wake me up by wailing at the door three hours later when he wants to come back in, and climb into bed next to me covered in rain and mud.

I have unfortunately fallen for it many times. Only once did he actually stay in side, I think because JB did too.
