actually it's pretty much standard in the UK, I guess they figure rooms don't get so trashed this way...

it's pretty annoying, I'd rather not have them bother me and clean myself, I'd do a better job anyway. But I suppose not everything agrees. Today they came into my room to put some papers on my dresser. Why couldn't they just stuff them under the door?
