Leonard's comments:
Pea Soup Andersen's is an odd California roadside tradition. The food is decent but not great. But you love to go there because you've been driving/riding in the car for hours and now there's a real sit-down restaurant that cares enough to have a signature dish and is in other ways like the classy roadside restaurants you imagine from the 50s and 60s before everything turned into food to eat in the car.This was probably my first visit to a Pea Soup Andersen's.
