We drove from L.A. to Glendale Utah today in our Suburban. it was quite a nice trip. Especially since we got the air-conditioning fixed last week. We came through Zion National Park. This beautiful mesa has always intrigued me, as it did again today.

Nature's Own Game Table. The verticle [sic] lines have been formed by water erosion of the cracks made in the rock during uplift of the land. The horizontal lines mark the bedding planes of ancient wind-blown sands, laid down under desert conditions.
