Inscription:

I went to the California Living Museum today with Leonard, Susanna and Rachel. We saw all kidns of wildlife, including a raccoon inside a hollow log.

Postcard back:

RACOON
SIERRA NEVADA MOUNTAINS, CALIFORNIA
A raccoon's black "bandit" mask is indiciative of its habit of night-raiding. Contrary to popular belief, it is not necessary for raccoons to wash their food before they eat it.

Leonard's comments:

But it is considered polite.

The California Living Museum is your low-carbon-footprint zoo! Rather than transporting expensive animals in from other countries, they just set out some food and put whatever they caught on display.
