(3) Mon Jan 12 2004 09:40: Last night we saw a comparably bad movie, Cold Sassy Tree. No plot, random people dying... John said it reminded him of Gone with the Wind.

In unrelated news, I managed to run a mile without stopping today. Ok, you can stop laughing now.

I bought the video of that when I bought the book. We were reading it for Book Group. I never made it to watching the video, but the book was pretty good.

I really liked the book, too (read on Frances' reccomendation). And I am impressed about your running, too. I chased Atticus around the playground today (for 5 min). Does that count? It should--my legs are sore.
