Roy's Postcards: 1982/01/29

Inscription:
Leonard and I went to the Museum yesterday and saw all of his favorite exhibits. It had been a while since we saw the upstairs No, Am. Mammals, so the walrus was quite outstanding.Leonard was intrigued by the turtle exhibit show how it lays its eggs in the sand and then the gulls eat some of the young before they can reach the sea.
Leonard's comments:
To me the walrus diorama is the ultimate LACMNH diorama. Distinctive animals in lifelike poses in a semi-realistic setting. Iconic.
