Roy's Postcards: 1982/04/10

Last night I went with Brent & Paul Boswell, Paul Farris, Scot Keith and Bill Bliff to the Joshua Tree Wilderness and backpacked in. we saw many wildflowers in bloom, bats, a turtle, desert iguanas. Today we drove up to the trailhead of 49 Palms Oasis Trail and hiked in 1 1/2 miles over beautiful desert mountain terrain.
