Roy's Postcards: 1983/04/19

Inscription:

I went to the Vagabond Theatre tonight and saw Deanna Durbin in "It's a Date" and Jeannette MacDonald in "Girl of the Golden West". I really liked "It's a Date".

Leonard's comments:

Internet research reveals that the Vagabond was a revival house."Girl of the Golden West" came out in 1938, "It's a Date" in 1940. Why is my mother not mentioned? It looks like my parents had one night a week to go out on their own, while the other took care of me and whatever sisters had been born by then.
