In the National Museum of American History I saw gowns & dress worn by all the First Ladies. There was also a display of the living quarters of Geo. & Martha Washington. This gown has hand painted American flowers and insects on it.
Leonard's comments:
It's probably been a while since the First Lady wore a dress with painted insects on it.
