Roy's Postcards: 1983/11/12

Inscription:

(ROY) Today: Wilshire Ward Wilshire Walk. We all walked down the center of this picture at the first part of our walk.

Postcard front:

Los Angeels, the City at the End of the Rainbow.

Postcard back:

EL CENTRO DE LOS ANGELES
Vista desde el Parque Mac Arthur

Leonard's comments:

I must have insisted on labelling this postcard and drawing the mysterious face.

I don't remember the Wilshire Ward Wilshire Walk (a charity event?) but I know it happened a couple times and I remember my mother wearing an 80s custom-made T-shirt from it.

I also don't know why the back of this postcard is in Spanish while the front is in English, nor why it claims Los Angeles is the city at the end of the (very 80s) rainbow. I found one other person on the Internet referring to LA as such, but the term seems more commonly (and appropriately) applied to San Francisco.
