This is an actual color photograph of the Ozark Mountain "Spook Lights" located southwest of Joplin, Missouri, near the Missouri-Oklahoma border. First seen in the 19th century, these mysterious lights have been the subject of superstitions, speculations, scientific tests and have been featured on national television.
