Roy's Postcards: 1984/06/06
(LEONARD) We had a wonderful time in Bryce Canyon. I bought this postcard at the Visitors Center where we saw some beautiful slides.
Within Bryce Canyon, the brilliantly colored cliffs and pinnacles are viewed in awe by those who descend the easy trails supervised by the National Park Service. Bryce Canyon is so brilliantly colored with shades and tints of many colors so bright, that light seems to flow or shine out of the rocks rather than reflect from them.
I don't think this postcard was even written from my point of view. I think my dad just designated this postcard as mine.
Check out the back copy, which uses the passive voice twice in the first sentence.
