Roy's Postcards: 1984/06/09

Inscription:

I went to the Jordan River Temple this morning for the first time. We are staying at David & Ellie's and going to Grandpa Call's 90th birthday party this afternoon.

The temple is beautiful from here at night. I went to the 6:20 AM session and did an endowment for Porfire Menjares [?] born in 1841. It was very nice.

"MORMON" JORDAN RIVER TEMPLE
Located 15 miles south of the historic Salt Lake L.D.S. "MORMON" Temple, the Jordan River Temple is the 20th Mormon Temple in the world. Its stained glass windows, cast marble exterior, and unique design, lend it an awe inspiring beauty traditional of all Mormon Temples.
