Roy's Postcards: 1984/10/27

Inscription:

The future of space exploration and scenes from so many recent space movies were featured at the National Air and Space Museum. This model was on display looking considerably less real tha[n] in the photograph.

Postcard back:

U.S.S. ENTERPRISE. Studio model of the interstellar spaceship used in filming the science-fiction television series, "Star Trek". Many of the 78 episodes of the series dealt speculatively with the problems and results of human contacts with extraterrestrial life forms and civilizations.

Leonard's comments:

I heard they might bring this show back.
