Roy's Postcards: 1985/06/11

Inscription:

Dear Leonard,
This is where I went snorkeling the last time I was here. I won't get a chance for much fun this trip. I love you.
Daddy

Postcard back:

Hanauma Bay, an idyllic place to make all your dreams of Hawaii come true. A Snorkeler's Paradise where the fish are so tame, they practically kiss you on the cheek.

Leonard's comments:

But my dreams of Hawaii involve finding Barack Obama's birth certificate.

Note the trio of patriotism in the upper right: "People's Right to Pedition for Redresses", "A public that reads - A root of democracy", and "National Flag Day June 14: Pause for the Pledge."

Judging by the ol' age-of-the-cars metric, this postcard was bought very soon after the picture was taken.
