Roy's Postcards: 1987/11/27

Inscription:
I visited Explorers Hall with Robert & Sandi Whitney, their family and my family.
Postcard back:
I feel like I've been in a real abandoned kiva on my interminable journeys through the Southwest.
Leonard's comments:
INDIAN KIVA IN EXPLORERS HALL, National Geographic Society, Washington, D.C., faithfully copies a National Geographic - National Park Service discovery in abandoned Wetherill Mesa, Colorado. An underground room reached by latter, the kiva served as ritual center, men's club and workroom.
