Wed Jan 03 2007 15:57 Naming Names: A writer's exegesis of his character names. The SSA's baby name rankings really are an excellent tool. My noir story takes place around 2015, and I used it to work backwards towards probable names, with the satisfying result of exobiologists and bureaucrats named Cody and Madison and Amber.
