[Comments] (1) : I thought I'd finished another SF story last night, one short enough to submit to Strange Horizons, but Sumana read it and revealed that it needs to go back in the shop. It turns out my "exposition through sidelong glances" technique falls apart in stories shorter than about 5000 words, leaving readers mystified. So back to the worldbuilding board.

I would love to read a science fiction story you've written. Can I find something on-line of yours or get you to let me review something nascent? I might try sending a story I wrote a couple years ago to Strange Horizons or Trabuco Road, I couldn't get any of the mainstream mags to publish it. This is the first I've happened by your place for months, and it's cool to see you authoring O'Reilly books.
