Jabberwocky for 2003 November 17 (entry 0)

(3) Mon Nov 17 2003 21:16: My students wrote the first part of their departmental exam today. The prognosis is dismal. I came home and took a nap and worked on genealogy. I have made it to the middle of the Ts, no last names.

Do we not know their last names, or is this way back before last names were invented?

Both, probably.

Lots of women we don't know their (maiden) names because they went by their married name.
