[Comments] (3) : I've already accomplished everything on my list today. I vaccuumed, I made two batches of pizza dough (poor little Rachel begged for some also) and I emailed two months worth of hymns to the program lady and the substitute organist. Now I'm going to make a trip to Jo-Ann's so I can finish my quilt.

John was told to take tomorrow off, so he will be home to keep me and Beet company. For all the planning and preparing one does for a new baby, ir's a bit annoying, really, that she can show up whenever she feels like it. You can only plan so much!

Amen to that! The waiting is painful. We always plan some outing/activity for each day leading up to the due date and marking it on the calendar (starting about one week before), and then for each day a week after. That way, when baby doesn't show on day "x", you can reward yourself with a trip for ice cream, dinner at a restaurant, or some other fun activity. That way every day is a celebration, and there is always something to look forward to, baby or not. We usually graduate our outings so they get better and better as we go along. Since Atticus and Samuel were both 4-5 days overdue, this calendaring method has proved to be essential.

Guess who's bringing work home with him? Sigh.

That sounds like a great idea! We are going to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch today.
