My Seussical Life for 2004 January 19

Permalink [No comments] Reasoning:

Atticus dragged a cardboard box out of the recycling bin. He tore it open, and spread a mess of cardboard pieces throughout the living room. When I moved to start cleaning it up, he protested,

"Mom--NOOooooo. That's my BED!"

I responded, "But Atticus, Papa is coming home. Do you want the first thing he sees to be this big mess?"

He disagreed. "No, Papa will say, 'Ah! What is this bed??' And then he will lie in it."
