Sunny 9 for 2004 March 18

Aaron and I never had cable in our old place and so we never watched TV. Now our new house has cable, and we don't even pay for it. At first we thought they would cut it off after a month after they found out that the other people weren't paying for it anymore, but it has been 2 1/2 months since we have lived there and it still works. I don't know if free cable is a blessing or a curse b/c I know if we had to pay for it then we wouldn't have it. But since we do have it, and when I am home I am usually lying on the couch feeling sorry for myself, I watch TV now. Oh no! I do feel guilty about it b/c I could be doing better things with my time, blah blah, but since I have been pregnant I really don't think I would be doing those things ie cleaning, and making dinner. I sound like such a baby.

Anyway, that brings me to my point. I have discovered Law and Order: SVU. I never was a primetime TV watcher, just the news and Simpsons and Seinfeld reruns maybe, but never had to watch "my show". But while flipping the channels I came across on USA Law and Order:SVU every night at 9:00 usually. I figured they were reruns b/c sometimes they would show a movie instead of the show. I don't know why, but I love that show. I watch it every night now, and am mad when they don't have it on and they have some stupid movie instead. I think they have new shows on NBC too, but I am not sure of the details since I have never caught it on. I think that the main detectives are really good actors, and no matter how hard I try I can never predict who did the crime in the beginning. That is a good sign to me that the show isn't predicable, at least for me. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I like the show, and it is now "my show".
