Sunny 9 for 2004 July 28

It seems as though the weblogs have slowed down this week with the exception of Leonard and Sumana. I guess everyone misses Frances. :( Hope you come back soon, we miss you.

Last night I watched Trading Spouses on Fox. The week before was the first episode and last night was the final episode for the two families that switched mom's. I saw the first show by accident while babysitting and it was on when I got there, otherwise I don't think I would have decided to watch it on my own. Since I saw the first episode, I couldn't stand the suspense and had to watch the final one.

I could not believe Tammy, one of the wife/mom's. She was out of this world with denial and narcissism. Wow! I didn't know people like that really exisit. Of course people act differently while on TV, but it seemed to me that she really thought she was coming into this family's home and making a difference, when all she was doing was ordering them around and having them do things for her and her way. On the other hand Amela, the other wife/spouse was so down to earth and warm and kind. The differences were night and day. I guess this show appeals to the quidnunc in me/society, but some people are interesting to watch. Having said that, I don't really agree with reality shows in general, so I am just confessing of my hypocrisy.

Also, my baby has the hiccups right now and it feels funny.
