News You Can Bruise for 2006 August 17

Permalink [Comments] (4) Thu Aug 17 2006 10:59 Wow!:

Sales of the Cookbook (at least on Amazon) have skyrocketed! Current sales rank: 850. I can't figure out what caused that. Maybe it's the chance to get a copy that I haven't written some nonsensical inscription on.

Update: Maybe the Dinosaur Comics plug.

INT. DINGY HOTEL - DAY

[Bullets scream nakedly through the window. ASH FIRESON, a shirtless man who looks like IAN SOMERHALDER or CILLIAN MURPHY, emerges frowning from behind the bed.]

ASHKilling a process also kills all of its children.

FIFI O'ANGELINAJOLIE, a sultry villainess, steps through the broken glass with her Kalashnikov high.

FIFIThis can be a problem if the child process shows up later in the ps list.

[FIFI fires in slow-mo like the Matrix. Another man bursts through the door to catch the bullet.]

ASH FIRESONCredit to Kevin Marshall!

KEVIN MARSHALLYou are a GTK trout!
