Roy's Postcards: 1983/01/26
Inscription:
On our way to Sunnyvale, coming on 101, we stopped at Helen Moe's Doll Museum just north of Paso Robles. We saw hundreds of dolls new and old - one belonged to the son of Henry VIII - a wooden boy doll.
Postcard back:
The Birthday Rose
A reproduction of an Antique Post Card
Leonard's comments:
Did this doll belong to the future Edward VI, or are we talking Henry Fitzroy, the only illegitimate offspring acknowledged by Henry VIII? I'll never know. Or care. This illustrated postcard is a nice break from all the photos I've been working on.
