Roy's Postcards: 1983/11/06

Inscription:
This center gown was most intriguing to me. It seemed quite a bright color and radical style for a president's wife - and of all Presidents - "Silent Cal" Coolidge. Herbert Hoover's wife seemed such a large woman - and I always thought of him as a small man.
Leonard's comments:
A side of my dad I'd never seen before--critiquer of fashions. All the dresses look kind of Margaret Dumont-y to me.
