Roy's Postcards: 1984/02/24

Inscription:

Frances, Leonard, Susanna and I went to the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History Museum Open House tonight. Leonard and I visited mammalology where he got a skull, vertebrate paleontology, herpatology, and several other laboratories. We got some popcorn for 5¢ a bag and Leonard looked at the jelly fish movie.

Leonard's comments:

This open house was awesome and if you ever get the chance to go to a natural history museum's open house, take it. I especially remember the huge machines where specimens were freeze-dried for display. Also obscure things in jars, just like you'd see in a movie.
