Roy's Postcards: 1984/08/22
Inscription:
Frances and I took a little time together today and went to the Arboretum. We saw some very nice landscaping & peacocks. This waterfall was especially impressive.
Postcard back:
WATERFALL
The waterfall cascades from the top of Tallac Knoll, a hill formed thousands of years ago by earthquake action. The falls are fringed with Aleppo pines (Pinus halepensis).
Leonard's comments:
Tallac Knoll sounds like a Cardassian name.
