Roy's Postcards: 1986/12/22

I bought this a few weeks ago - Heidi and I took a small vacation up the coast. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is definitely a place to visit. Though I'm mailing it a bit late -> the thought was even longer in my mind, wishing you & your family the best.

Postcard back:

DOLPHINS EN ROUTE Delphinus delphis

Common dolphins are mammals wonderfully adapted to life in the sea. Travelling in schools, these fast swimmers can reach speeds of up to 25 miles per hour in short bursts.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row is the world's largest, its galleries and exhibits explore the facts, myths and mysteries of the bay beyond its decks, displaying more than 5,000 marine creatures that represent nearly 375 species.

Leonard's comments:

People from church who I can almost picture. I have a somewhat-adhered-to rule about not putting up postcards from non-family-members addressed to people other than me, but here it's more honored in the breach, because this is just really sweet and classy.
