Frances, Leonard, Susanna, Rachel and I went to the Arboretum today and saw the iris show and fed the ducks at the lake.

Arcadia, California

View of the Queen Anne Cottage from the Lagoon, built by the fabulous E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin in 1881. This outstanding example of Victorian architecture was restored by the Historical Committee of California Arboretum Foundation, Inc. in 1953. The furnishings used in the restoration are authentic of the late 1800's.

Leonard's comments:

Sounds like a trip driven by what Mom wanted to do.
