OpenOffice Writer autocorrected "naive" to "naïve", then immediately flagged it as misspelled and suggested "naive" as the correct spelling. Come on, different parts of OpenOffice Writer, let's see some cöoperation cooperation cöoperation coöperation cooperation coöperation here!

It's already filed as issue 22696. They haven't touched it for over a year. I don't blame them. Fixing it seems like a lot of work for relatively little benefit.

Then maybe some voting and additional comments asking for the fix could encourage them to start working on the fix.

But I don't want to encourage them to start working on the fix. It's a lot of work for relatively little benefit. I'd rather they spend their time fixing more serious bugs. I just posted about it because I thought it was funny.
