Leonard and I went shopping for him to buy a present for Mommy. Frances. Then we drove through Hollywood in the rain, stopping at Thrifty's to buy ice cream cones and postcards.

Little uncertain about the POV there.

I have a lot of good memories of this kind of excursion and I'm glad that Susanna keeps the tradition of Thrifty's ice cream alive with her children.
