Roy's Postcards: 1983/02/12

Inscription:

(LEONARD) I went to a museum with Mommy and Daddy and the little puce and we saw dinosaurs that were cars before.

There was a Tyranosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Dimetrodon.

Postcard back:

AD-4 PROTOCERATOPS. A primitive dinosaur, fossils of which are found in the Gobi Desert in all stages of growth. Even the remains of eggs (about 6 inches long) and newly hatched young have been recovered.

Leonard's comments:

Clearly dictated. I don't know what "the little puce" means--it sounds like an uncomplimentary term for a baby, but Rachel wasn't born yet. The dinosaurs that were cars before was the "20th Century Dinosaurs" exhibit, sculptures of dinosaurs made out of car parts, which shows up many times in these postcards and which I absolutely loved.
