Roy's Postcards: 1983/06/25

Inscription:

Leonard, Susanna and I went to the Natural History Museum today. They still have some of the dinosaurs made from car parts. Tehy also have an animated brontosaurus and stegosaurus. Leonard was terrified of both of them. The rose garden was beautifully in bloom.

Postcard back:

ANKYLOSAURUS (An-kyle-o-SAWR-us)
Ankylosaurus was a round-bodied, armored dinosaur with sharp spikes around its body and a great bony knob on its tail. The tail was used to swat meat-eaters that tried to attack it.

Leonard's comments:

Glad you enjoyed the rose garden after endangering your children by putting them in proximity to horrifying prehistoric monsters, DAD.

Anklyosaurus also used its tail to swat coffee snobs and people who don't silence their cell phones in the theater.
