Roy's Postcards: 1983/06/29

Inscription:

We drove up to Telluride today with Leonard Whitney. The children were all asleep when we get there so I sat in the car with them while Frances and Leonard explored the town. The switchbacks on the mountain were still full of snow and to the left of them was a beautiful waterfall.

Leonard's comments:

Compare this map of Arizona to similar generic postcard maps of California. California maps have desert, airplanes, wine, cable cars, redwoods, oranges, etc. etc. So much stuff you can't fit it onto the postcard. This Arizona map just shows a bunch of desert, with a forest and some mountains. This is why California is better. More stuff.
