Roy's Postcards: 1983/06/29

Inscription:

On our trip today to and from Telluride, Colorado from Rico, we went over Lizard Head Pass and saw this unique formation. Leonard got very excited about it ~ indicative of this propensity for reptiles.

Postcard back:

LIZARD HEAD PEAK. Rising to a height of 13,156 ft., this unique rock formation resembling a Horned lizard's head, can be seen from Lizard Head Pass on Highway 145 between Dolores and Telluride, Colorado.

Leonard's comments:

Telluride to come pick you up!

This card is mismatched, but I can't let you leave without a picture of the still-awesome Lizard Head Peak.
