Roy's Postcards: 1983/06/30

Inscription:

I went fishing for the first time today with Daddy, Uncle Robert, Grandpa Whitney and Alyson. I fixed me up a little fishing pole, but when I put it in the water, the worm let loose. It was exciting to catch the fish, but I didn't like to see them killed.

Postcard front:

Rico, Colorado

Postcard back:

RICO, COLORADO, situated on State Highway 145 about half-way between Dolores and Telluride. Incorporated in 1879, Rico is still a mining camp producing lead, zinc, copper, silver and gold and a year long recration area.

Leonard's comments:

Yeah, that was traumatic.
